Senior Practitioner - Looked After Children

Luton Borough Council is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Looked After Children Team.

This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Senior Practitioner have knowledge and experience working in a Looked after Children Team.

The key to success in this role is to hold previous experience build lasting relationships with children and families.

Your responsibilities as a Looked After Children Senior Practitioner:

• Experience within Looked After Children team
• Handling complex and long term cases
• Experience attending LAC reviews
• Ability to build long term trusting relationships with children and families
• Making regular visits whether that be 6 or 12 weekly

Requirements of you as a LAC Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of work within Looked After Children
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is required

Location: Luton

Umbrella pay rate: £38.00
