Senior Practitioner

A Kent-based Local Authority is looking for a Senior Practitioner to oversee social work activity for the Regional Adoption Agency. As the Senior Practitioner, you will be providing oversight, guidance and advice on social work activity. This role is a full-time, and permanent position.

You will be joining this local authority's vision on supporting Children and Young people to make them feel safe and secure. As the ideal Senior Practitioner will need experience of multi agency working. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match this Local Authority's ambitions.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Practitioner:

• Suppoort the team to work within legislative and policy frameworks
• Oversee and lead the progression of complex cases
• Work with children and families in a variety of contexts
• Support the Team manager in recruitment and induction of new staff

Requirements of you as the Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid registration with Social Work England
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Kent

Salary: up to £45,000 + retention payment
