Senior Operations Manager

A well-thought of Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Senior Team Manager (Senior Operations Manager) for their well-thought of South Wales Fostering service. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The ideal Social Worker/Manager will have Significant Fostering experience within a Senior/Management position ideally within an Independent Fostering Agency or Charity. Local Authority experience will also be considered. This is a great chance to manage a strong team and become an integral part of an exciting future.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Senior Team Manager:

• Managing, guiding and supporting a team of Supervising Social Workers
• Contributing to Business Development
• Quality Assurance
• Contributing to Planning Carer Recruitment Strategies
• Contributing Staff Recruitment Strategies
• Contributing to Staff Training
• Reporting to the Registered Manager

Requirements for you as the Senior Team Manager:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
• Registered with Social Care Wales
• Significant experience of working within Children's Social Work
• Significant experience as a Social Work Manager
• An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care and Fostering

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to just over £48,000 + benefits
