Safeguarding Social Worker

A local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding Team. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £42,403, based around Swindon. You'll be joining a local authority who uses a Family Safeguarding Model.

Responsibilities for you as a Family Safeguarding Social Worker:

• Supporting Children through a new Family Safeguarding model
• Provide professional and comprehensive casework
• Manage an allocated caseload, including Child Protection
• Work with Children and Young People, Families, Carers and Communities

Requirements for you as a Family Safeguarding Social Worker:

• Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work
• Social Work England Registration
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations

Location: Swindon

Salary scale: £40,403 - £42,403 (Depending on Experience) + Benefits
