Job description

London Borough of Lambeth are looking for experienced Social Workers to join their Family Support and Child Protection Team.

This is a Fulltime Locum Social Work role.

To implement positive change in complex cases in children, families and carers lives by using systemic social work methods, models and tools, with the aims of helping them to be as independent as possible.

Your responsibilities and experience as a Social Worker:

  • The matching of child / family with evidence-based services relevant to the identified needs.
  • The co-ordination of multi-professional / agency input to assessment, planning and help.
  • High standard of report writing and case recording
  • Development, co-ordination, implementation, and review of evidence-based plans
  • The matching of child / family with evidence-based services relevant to the identified needs.
  • The co-ordination of multi-professional / agency input to assessment, planning and help.
  • The application of theory and theoretical frameworks to all aspects of practice.
  • Supporting the development of creative and innovate care planning to support children and their families.
  • Delivering to performance standards consistently across the measures within the journey of the child.

Requirements of a Social Worker:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid Social Work England registration
  • Have competent knowledge and experience of work within CIN, CP or LAC & Court Work
  • A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is required

Location: Lambeth, London

Umbrella pay rate: £38.50 per hour
