Part Time Adoption - Social Worker

Greater Manchester is looking for a Social Worker to join their Part-Time Children's team. This is a locum Social Work role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in family finding for children. The key to success is to start the job with confidence and very little supervision.

Responsibilities as a Part-Time Children's Social Worker:

• Responsible for achieving best possible outcomes for looked after children
• Responsible for a caseload of complex cases
• Developing relationships with service users, their families, and carers
• Writing reports and providing evidence in court regarding care proceedings

Requirements of you as a Part-Time Children's Social Worker:

• A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience
• UK driver's license is essential for this role

Location: Greater Manchester

Umbrella pay rate: £35.00 per hour
