Driver Essential with UK Driving Licence.

Mental Health Support Worker required to support our client in Totton working with a small team to support a young adult who suffers from Mental Health, Autism, Self Harming and Learning disabilities.

About the role:

The individual has a great sense of humour, they enjoy going for long walks and they have a keen interest in bowling and playing pool. The team will provide staff on a 2:1 24/7 basis. You will support out in the community, help with day to day tasks and supporting within the home.

About you:

A successful candidate will have empathy, compassion, and a genuine concern for others and want to listen and empower vulnerable people. You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the role itself. You will have experience working with service users who have mental health.

Pay starts from £12.00 per hour PAYE and £15.02 per hour Umbrella.

Requirements for you as a Mental Health Support Worker:

• Experience with Mental Health is essential due to the complex package.
• Confident in working independently and being proactive.
• Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills.
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service.

Shift Times for you as a Mental Health Support Worker:

• Monday - Sunday. Flexability is required.
• 8am - 8pm
• 8pm-8am
• 12 Hour Shifts
• 36 Hours per week
