A Local Authority in Merseyside are looking for a Locum Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Job responsibilities as the Locum MASH Social Worker

• As an Experienced Social worker in the team you will demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk, striking a balance between support and control and liaising with a wide range of professionals
• You will have experience in making decisions and understanding threshold
• You will show a good understanding of Child Protection and understanding of Risk Assessment
• Ability to interpret information and search data bases for information regarding children and for safeguarding purposes
• Providing advice to professionals and service users

Requirements as the Locum MASH Social Worker

• Social Work England registration
• Current clear enhanced DBS
• Social Work Qualification and a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience

Pay rate: Up to £37 per hour

Location: Merseyside
