Looked After Children Social Worker

A Local Authority in West Sussex is looking for a Social Worker to join their Looked After Children Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have extensive experience working in a looked after children or a frontline team. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently without the need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Looked After Children Social Worker:

• Working to create trusting relationships with children and families
• Work cohesively with connected services to ensure
• Undertake relevant risk assessment
• Be part of court processes as and when needed

Requirements of you as a Looked after Children Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Frontline work
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is essential

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Umbrella pay rate: £38.00 per hour
