Locum Independent Reviewing Officer

A Local Authority in Greater Manchester are looking for a Locum Independent Reviewing Officer to join their Looked After Children Team.

Job Responsibilities

• To provide an independent chairing service for multi-agency and departmental meetings in matters relating to Looked after Children.
• To facilitate inter-agency and departmental working in relation to Looked after Children through effective communication with all relevant agencies.
• To promote and monitor adherence to the statutory requirements for Looked after Children to enable a consistent and high quality service to children and their families who are receiving services from the Department

Job requirements

• Social Work Qualification and previous IRO experience
• Full UK driving license and access to a car
• Social Work England registration
• Clear Enhanced DBS

Pay rate: Up to £40 per hour (Umbrella)

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
