LAC Advanced Practitioner

A Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Looked after Children Team as an Advanced Practitioner. This is a part-time, permanent position paying up to £23,710, based in South Wales.

Responsibilities for you as an Advanced Practitioner:

• Promote strength-based practice
• Recruit, select and manager staff under the direction of the Team Manager
• Enhance and improve the services provided by the Team alongside the Team Manager
• Undertake regular case file audits to ensure that policies and procedures are consistently adhered to.

Requirements for you as an Advanced Practitioner:

• Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work
• Social Care Wales Registration
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations

Location: South Wales

Salary scale: £22,214 - £23,710 (depending on experience) + Benefits
