Independent Reviewing Officer - SEND

Bolton Council are looking for a full-time Qualified Social Worker to join the Independent Review and Conferencing Team. This role is working within the SEND Team reviewing Education and Health Care Plans.

Job Responsibilities

• Understanding of legislation for Children in Need; Children subject to child protection plans; Pathway plans, children Looked After and children with additional needs
• Evidence of preparing, producing, implementing, and evaluating plans with individual Children, families, carers, and professional colleagues
• Experience of leading, chairing, recording, and facilitating meetings
• Ability to relate easily to and support children and young people to participate in their meetings

Job requirements

• Social Work Qualification and previous IRO experience
• Full UK driving license and access to a car
• Social Work England registration
• Clear Enhanced DBS

Pay rate: Up to £45 per hour (Umbrella)
