Job Vacancy: Head of Operations - Mental Health Supported Living

Location: North London, UK

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £60,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for launching and scaling new supported living services across North London.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the new services, ensuring they meet high standards of care and comply with all relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Team Management: Recruit, lead, and develop a team of professionals dedicated to mental health support, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Service Development: Design and implement innovative care models and support plans tailored to the needs of individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all services are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and quality standards, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for new services, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial sustainability.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in operations management within the mental health sector, including experience setting up and scaling services.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in management, mental health, or related fields (e.g., NVQ Level 5, relevant degree).
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating successful teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to drive forward ambitious projects.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in mental health care.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
