Family Safeguarding Team Manager

A local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to be the Team Manager of their Family Safeguarding Team. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £60,349, based in Swindon. You'll be joining a local authority who uses a Family Safeguarding Model.

Responsibilities for you as a Team Manager:

• Lead, Support and Develop your team to ensure that all children can achieve their potential.
• Develop and grow relationships with internal and external partners.
• Deliver an effective service, in-line with policies and procedures.
• Provide supervision to the Assistant Team Manager to positively work with Social Workers and the Children, Young People and their Families.

Requirements for you as a Team Manager:

• Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work
• Social Work England Registration
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Significant experience within a front-line Childrens Social Work setting
• Management or Supervisory experience
• A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations

Salary: £60,349 + Benefits
