Experienced Social Worker - Assessment & Child Protection

You now have an opportunity to join Swindon Borough Council's Assessment and Child Protection Service (ACP). The ACP team undertake assessments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory assessments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies.
• Provide high quality casework and service to vulnerable children and families.

Please note you are expected to attend the office for 1 block week out of 5, whilst on duty.

After the completion of the assessment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long-Term Locality Teams.
