Early Help Consultant Social Worker

A Local Authority in Liverpool is looking for a Consultant Social Worker to join their Early Help Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working of working in a prevention driven team environment. The key to success in this role is to work with a strength based approach and utilise the sign of safety model.

Your responsibilities as an Early Help Consultant Social Worker:

• Triaging referrals for Early Help support.
• Reviewing the level of need and ensuring clear allocation plans are created.
• Will liaise with the Team Manager and ensure that referrals are progressed along the appropriate pathway.
• Manage a team of 5 Outreach Family Support workers and complete regular quality supervision to ensure that the child/young person is receiving interventions to improve their outcomes.

Requirements of you as an Early Help Consultant Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Early Help work.
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is preferred for this role.

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

Umbrella pay rate: Up to £34.00 per hour.
