Deputy Team Manager

A not-for-profit Independent Fostering Agency are looking for a Deputy Manager to assist the agency's Team Manager in the Kent area. This is a full time, permanent position.

The successful applicant will support the current social work team and two current Practice Managers. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Senior Practitioner or Manager to join an experienced team of supervising social workers and support staff. Applicants with senior supervising social worker experience who may be looking for a developmental opportunity to progress within two years to Practice Manager and beyond, are welcome to apply.

The successful applicant will have 2 years' experience as a senior social work practitioner, with a working understanding of therapeutic parenting approaches and in supporting foster parents in looking after children and young people within their homes.

Location: Kent (hybrid available)

Salary: up to £40,000 (negotiable for more experience)
