Children's Team Manager

Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Team Manager to join an Adolescents Service on a Full Time Locum basis.

About the team

The role ensures high levels of quality interventions, effective case management oversight, decision making and overall performance in the best interest to adolescents and their families. The role requires management oversight of Adolescents across the social care spectrum from the point of referral (assessment), through planning, including Risk Outside the Home (child protection threshold) plans, care proceedings, children in or leaving care. The role will include keeping children at home where it is safe to do so and in line with the child's best interests.

About you

You will be skilled with adolescents who present with trauma-led behaviours and be confident in supporting workers in the field of contextual safeguarding. The majority of families held within the team are singular children and not sibling groups so the ability to hold different children in mind is vital. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of three years' experience working in Social Work Management.
