Children's Social Worker

Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Children's Senior Social Worker to join a Referral and Assessment Team on a Locum basis.

About the team

Within this team you will be supporting children and young people by undertaking child protection investigations alongside safety and consistency planning. You will be carrying out assessments to understand the level of support and intervention required. Additionally, you will be formulating care plans to create child focused plans and maintain case records capturing the young person's voice.

About you

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, proactive professional with a strong working knowledge of Children's legislation and specific experience in Assessment, Children In Need and Children Protection. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of three years' experience working in a Children's Services setting.
