Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a team across services in Assessment, Safeguarding and Permanence (Children in Care/Children Looked After)

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About you

The successful candidate will be well versed in Children Social Work procedures. It is also essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) - with a minimum of three years in a Children's Social Work setting. A valid Social Work England registration is required. Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle is essential.

About the team

This team has a new Director of Children's Services who joined in August from Birmingham Children's Trust. They are building a new experienced senior team who are committed to collaborative leadership and making Liverpool a place where good social work can flourish. You will be supported in your practice by your manager and receive regular reflective supervision. They have excellent training opportunities as well as opportunities for career development.
