Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Looked After Children/ Leaving Care Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works to safeguard children and young people when going through CLA proceedings. Some of the responsibilities this team has is to complete necessary court assesments, permanancy planning and to contribute as a cooporate parent. The team works with each child directly to ensure they are settled and they can make sense of the changes in care and aid in their recovery from experiences prior to this.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience with children looked after procedures as well as in a children's frontline team. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' post qualification experience is essential for this role (a completed ASYE is counted as one completed year). A valid UK driving licence and car is preferred but not essential for this role.
