Children's Social Worker

Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Children In Care Team on a Full Time Locum basis.

About the team

To ensure cases within the service are progressed in a timely manner, that the most vulnerable children are safeguarded and that up to date research informs all interventions. You will participate in a duty team/ rota completing contacts, referrals and undertaking sec47 enquiries and child and family assessments. To undertake Care Proceedings and to represent the Local Authority at Court.

About you

As the Social Worker you will demonstrate sound knowledge of social care processes and extensive court experience. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of three years' experience working in a Children's Services setting.
