Children's Social Worker

Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Looked After Children and Leaving Care Team on a Locum basis.

About the team

The Team works with Looked After Children, who are 16 years+ right through to care leavers aged 25 years. The role will involve transitioning Young People to Personal Advisors at 18 years, Pathway Planning is a central area of work within this team as well as preparing these Young People for transition to adulthood. The Team look after a large number of UASC cases.

About you

As the Social Worker you will need to have experience in working with Looked After Children, Leaving Care including working with UASC.

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of three years' experience working in a Children's Social Work setting.
