Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Children In Care Team on a Locum basis.

About the team

To work with children of all ages that are in care, carry a caseload and progress care plans for them. Finding adoptive placements for them, or supporting long term fostering plans. There will also be some complex young people in residential care, and a group that is being supported to return home to family members.

About you

As the Social Worker you will need to have excellent skills in direct work with children and young people, and be committed to robust and timely permanence planning for all these children

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of three years' experience working in a Children In Care setting.
