Job description

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker in Greater Manchester.

You must have a Social Work Degree and be registered with Social Work England, with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

The team takes part in a duty rota once every 5 weeks. As well as this, you will be responsible for case holding Children in Need and Child Protection cases whilst also completing Pre-proceedings for court cases. This team is hard working with a focus on proactivity being key to the success of each case.

About you

You will be an experienced Social Worker with some experience working in Safeguarding teams. A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience working in a Safeguarding, Child Protection or Children in Need setting is preferred. Experience with protocol LCS system is also preferred.
