Children with Disabilities Social Worker

We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities team.

About the team

You will be joining a team that provide services to children and young people who have severe or significant learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, or profound communication impairments. You will play a key part in responding to new referrals into the team and ensuring that an effective initial response has been provided.

About the role

You will need a degree in Social Work and post-qualifying experience within a Children's Services team. A background in Children in Need, Child Protection or Front-line Teams would be considered. It is essential that you have a working knowledge of Childcare legislation, guidance and national standards.
