A Local Authority in the East Midlands is looking for a Childrens Social Worker to join their Single Assessment Team.

Responsibilities as a Childrens Social Worker:

• To deliver the first response to all referrals that meet the threshold for a Social Work Assessment by carrying out new assessments and enquiries under S17 and S47 of the Children Act 1989.
• Keeping up to date with current legislations.
• Making sure all referrals are handled appropriately, providing help/ protection and escalating to the right teams when necessary.

To be considered for this Social Work position, you must have:

• Valid Social Work England Registration.
• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Dip SW/CQSW) with AYSE year completed.
• Driver's License preferable.

Umbrella pay rate: up to £35.00 p/h.
