Business Development Manager - Social Care

Are you a Business Manager in adult social care? Do you have extensive experience in tendering, commissioning and business developingfor supported living? Do you want to work for a highly regarded specialist charity?

I am recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused Business Development Manager with experience in Adult Social Care services (this is a must; no other sectors will be considered). The role is based in Bedford but you will only need to come to the office once a week.

The Business Development Manager main responsibilities will be to work with the Director and Operations Team to develop new services and schemes across the UK. You will lead these projects to bring new business to the charity and deliver on performance and growth targets.

You will also assist in the development of new services, updates in the local and national markets and developing business strategies to increase market share.

This is a national role with travel required and will require the successful candidate to travel to Bedford once a week to meet with the Business Development Team.

The Business Development Manager will receive a salary of £55,000 plus performance related bonus based on KPIs

The Business Development Manager must have

• Extensive experience in the Health and Social Care sector
• Prior experience in a business or commercially focused role in social care
• Strong knowledge and experience in working with commissioners, tendering for business and developing new services
• Track record in winning new business and contracts
• Driving License and Vehicle as this is a travelling role
