Advanced Social Worker Assessment and Safeguarding

A Merseyside City Council are looking for an Advanced Social Worker to join their Assessment and Safeguarding Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

Your responsibilities as an Assessment and Safeguarding Social Worker:

• The candidate can decide which service they would prefer to work in out of Safeguarding and Assessment
• Assessment Service: dynamic city- wide service completing single assessments, including child protection, working closely with MASH colleagues
• Safeguarding: This area of social work in Liverpool covers, children in need, children in need of protection, children looked after going through care proceedings, private law proceedings where safeguarding reports are required and those children on public law orders who live at home.

Requirements of you as an Assessment and Safeguarding Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience within assessment or safeguarding
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is preferred

Location: Liverpool

Umbrella pay rate: £45.00 per hour
