Job description
A Local Authority is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join their Community Learning Disability and Autism Team based in Bedfordshire. The role is a full-time, permanent position. You will be joining a supportive learning culture.
The ideal Advanced Practitioner will have experience working with adults and leading a team. In this vital role, you will provide leadership on risk and safeguarding and professional social work matters and to promote personalised care pathways ensuring choice and control for all eligible individuals.

Your responsibilities as the Advanced Practitioner:
- Carry a small caseload of complex cases, requiring a high level of professional skill
- Supervise, support and mentor staff who are responsible for providing assessments
- Support the Operation Manager to commission services efficiently and effectively within budget
- Chairing safeguarding and strategy meetings
Requirements of you as the Advanced Practitioner:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A valid HCPC registration
- Significant experience of working within a management role
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: up to £40,000
