Adults Social Worker

We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join the Learning Disabilities Team based within London.

This post requires a Social Work Qualification of a minimum 2 year post experience.

About the team

This team works with vulnerable adults that have Learning Disabilities, this team is deigned to support those with learning disabilities within the service. Some key responsibilities within this team may include, carrying out Care Act assessments, carrying out Mental Capacity assessments, working with other professionals for the best interest of the client. This team does have an requirement of face to face visits to be carried out within the community, flexibility of working hybrid will be offered.

About you

A Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) within a minimum of 1 year post ASYE experience is required. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake cases independently and demonstrate the capability to adapt the approach from first principles to deal with more complex or unusual cases. A candidate with experience of working within complex care, learning disabilities and community will desirable for the team.
