Rebecca is our senior payroll officer within our payroll and accounts team.
Since leaving University in 2016 I have worked primarily in recruitment. Up until then, my main work experience had been within the service industry, ranging from retail to bar staff and waitressing. Straight after Uni I found myself falling into a career within recruitment, my previous work experience within customer service taught me a lot of transferable skills for the recruitment world. I started my journey in recruitment as a resourcer that developed into a consultant. I have since progressed into Payroll & Finance supporting this very busy operation!
During the pandemic I managed to save and relocate to another part of the country. For personal reasons this move was quite significant for me. Although it’s only been a short amount of time, I can honestly say it’s the best decision I've ever made.
Why Charles Hunter Associates?
Charles Hunter Associates has given me a chance to progress into a different area of the company that I didn’t have any previous experience in. As much as I loved the recruitment side, I always felt like it wasn’t going to be my “forever” career. I’m quite methodical and very organised so the transition into payroll felt like a much better profession for me. I now work very closely with the credit control, finance and accounts functions within the company and was promoted to Senior Payroll Officer in May 2021. CHA has given me the chance to broaden my skillset by allowing me to develop into a roll much better suited to me.
