Our Fourth Year of Compliance+ Accreditation!

On the 25th July, Charles Hunter Associates passed APSCo’s Compliance+ accreditation for the fourth year in a row!

Compliance+ was developed by APSCo to provide “an uncompromising quality benchmark for Social Work recruitment companies.” The aim of the accreditation is to push organisations to go above and beyond the statutory requirements of safeguarding. As it stands, Charles Hunter Associates is one of only nine Social Work Recruitment Agencies to have achieved this accreditation, proving us market leaders in this space.

The Audit is carried out annually, assessing our continual improvement year on year. With our dedicated Compliance Manager, Yasmine taking the lead, we are proud to have passed with flying colours for the fourth year running. Yasmine ensures that throughout the year, all our Social Workers are properly referenced and compliant to HSPC standards. She also gives extensive training to individual consultants, ensuring everyone is vigilant to Charles Hunter’s Compliance expectations. 

Part of the Complaince+ Assessment includes rigorously checking our registration and compliance documentation, including references and DBS records; our procedures for ensuring safeguarding standards; our policies available to candidates and clients; and a few anonymous quotes from current locum candidates.

Our assessor was very impressed with the way we run compliance at Charles Hunter Associates and praised us on our commitment to Safer Recruitment and our Candidate File Compliance.
