SEN Teaching Assistant

Agency Teaching Assistants required across Reading for Special Educational Needs Primary Schools and Nurseries .

We are looking for Teaching Assistants with who can work well as part of a team and on a 1:1 basis and make a positive impact on a child's day within a Educational environment . The ideal applicant will have experience with Learning Disabilities from moderate through to profound. We are looking for candidates with great communication skills, a positive attitude and a be a great team player

Agency Hours available - 08:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday

You can pick and chose when you work from 1 day to 5 (depending on our clients needs)

Duties of a SEN Teaching Assistant

• Support the Class Teacher in the smooth and effective running of the class
• Supporting pupils in their learning and development, in small groups or on a 121 basis
• To help raise standards of achievement for all pupils
• To encourage the social and emotional development of pupils
• To help pupils to become as autonomous and as independent as possible
• Supporting with Personal Care throughout the day

Experience Required

• Experience working with Children and Young people with Learning disabilities
• Including ASD, ADHD, Visual , hearing and sensory impairments
• Physical disabilities
• Personal Care
