Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join an Independent Fostering Agency.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES A QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER, REGISTERED WITH SOCIAL CARE WALES AND HAVE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK WITH UK EXPERIENCE

About the team

The role of this team is to provide children and the service with fully trained, compassionate and competent foster care when they are in need. The team are responsible for supporting supervision visits to provide placement management. Planning and being aware of when intervention is needed to ensure the child's care and development needs are met are also key to be aware of in this role.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipDW/CQSW) with post-qualifying experience in Children's Social Work is essential for this role. Having understanding of fostering within social work lends well with this role. It is vital to be Social Care Wales Registered in order to be considered for this position - as well as having a valid UK driving licence and a vehicle.
