Youth Offending Social Work - Berkshire/West London

A salary of up to £39,000 + terrific benefits

A Private Children's Trust require an experienced Social Worker to join their Youth Offending team.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with multi-agencies to deliver a high-quality youth justice service to children and young people
  • You will be making accurate and detailed assessments in relation to risk of harm
  • You will be preparing court reports and other relevant standards
  • Supporting the organisation in ensuring that the service is run in line with the Government Legislation, Regulations and Standards, together with the Inspecting Body

Requirements:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Significant experience of working with children and families
  • An excellent knowledge and understanding of the current legislations and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care, the Children's Act 1989 and its application to Social Work practice.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle to travel to other areas.
