A unique opportunity is available working as a Waking Nights Support Worker in a Supported Living service with adults who have autism, challenging behaviours, learning disabilities and Downs Syndrome

As the Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be working in a Supported Living Service that provides support to the service users at all times, along with promoting independence and providing a person-centred approach.

Requirements of the Waking Nights Support Worker include:

  • Experience working with adults with challenging behaviours in a care setting
  • Commitment to work weekends and work on a flexible rota basis
  • UK Driving license
  • Good standard of written English for report writing
  • Strong communication skills and emotional resilience

Responsibilities of the Waking Nights Support Worker include:

  • Provide a person-centred approach at all times
  • Personal care, support and provide assistance
  • Ensure the service users are comfortable and safe during the night shifts
  • Remain vigilant and alert at all times during the night shift

Location: Maidenhead

Salary: £9 - £9.50

Role: 24-hour and 36-hour contracts available.
