A developing Local Authority is looking for a Fostering Social Worker to be the Team Manager of their team in North London. As a successful Team Manager, you will become a part of the fostering team where you will be providing management and support to social workers.
This Team Manager position is a full-time, and permanent position. You will need to have fostering experience. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match the ambitions to the Local Authority.

Your responsibilities as the Team Manager:

  • Managing and supervising staff
  • Develop and manage the service with reviews
  • Provide and implement training for staff and others
  • Undertake recruitment when necessary
  • Attend, organise and chair meetings

Requirements of you as the Team Manager:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid HCPC registration
  • Significant experience of working within Child Protection
  • Experience of working within a Senior/Managerial position
  • Experience of working within Assessments
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: North London

Salary: up to £54,000
