Job description

A North London based Local Authority is looking for a Team Manager of their Early Help Service. As the Team Manager, you will be ensuring timely and effective decision making, case allocation and effective multi-agency working. This role is a full-time permanent position.

The ideal Team Manager will have a strong background in Frontline Social Work and experience managing teams. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match the ambitions to the Local Authority.

Your responsibilities as the Team Manager:

  • Managing and supervising a team
  • Promote staff learning and development
  • Provide regular, high quality, challenging and reflective supervision
  • Attend and chair a range of meetings when needed

Requirements of you as the Team Manager:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid registration with Social Work England
  • Experience of working within a Senior/Managerial position
  • Significant Experience of working within Young Adults Service
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: North London

Salary: up to £55,000
