Established children's home based in Blackpool with fantastic reputation for internal promotion are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join their 3 bedded children's home for vulnerable adolescent males with starting salary up to £21,000.

The Team Leader will be a senior member of the staff team leading a shift of support workers and supporting the Registered and Deputy Manager.

The Team Leader will also be influential in promoting independence and safeguarding the residents whilst ensuring the home delivers the very best care and best practice.

The Team Leader post is paying from £18,000 to £21,000 dependent on experience. The role also offers further progression including promotions and qualifications.

The successful candidate will need

NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People or Residential Childcare
Extensive experience within residential children's homes
Over 12 months' team leader or senior support worker experience in children's homes
Flexibility to work on a varying rota including days, evenings, sleep ins and weekends
Knowledge of working within Ofsted regulations
Driving License
