Support Worker/Youth Worker required to work full-time for a Semi-Independent Service based in Reading. You will be supporting Young People who may present with complex and or challenging behaviour.

Hours:

8:00-14:30/14:30-22:00/8:00-22:00 & Sleep-in

Monday to Sunday work pattern, and must be flexible to work bank holidays

Duties as a Support Worker/Youth Worker:

  • Supporting young people regularly within the home
  • Assisting young people with budgeting, shopping, meal prep, personal hygiene, punctuality, and support them to become the best person they can be.
  • Opening up opportunities to develop their independence
  • Keep confidential information up to date
  • Follow and understand individual care plans
  • Maintain cleanliness of the premises
  • Attend regular training
