Full-time Support Worker required to work for a semi-independent living service based in Reading

This client owns 3 properties 4-8 bed, that house young care leavers aged 16+ years

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experience support worker to come on board to support these young people on their journey to independence

You ideally with have experience with 1-1 key working with young people in a semi-independent environment and be flexible to pick-up last-minute shifts and various times in advance and throughout the week.

Shifts:

Monday - Sunday 37.5 hours per week

07:30-14:30/14:30-22:00 and a minimum of 1 sleep-in per week

Also included in these hours are key 1-1 support sessions with the young people

Requirements:

  • Desirable NVQ level 3 or above in children and young people or equivalent
  • Experience working 1-1
  • Experience following care plans
  • Good verbal and Written English
