A national, not for profit supported living service for adults with learning disabilities requires enthusiastic and passionate Support Workers. The role is based in Addlestone, and you'll be supporting adults within beautiful purpose built bungalows.

My client has been supporting adults with learning disabilities for over 30 years and have built a reputation for providing positive outcomes within an inclusive and holistic environment.

We are looking for experienced social care Support Workers and Care Workers who are passionate about working with learning disabilities, can support and promote independence whilst passionately promoting the charity's ethos.

Role/Responsibilities

As Support Worker, you will be required to:

  • Deliver a high standard of care
  • Act as a role model for the care team
  • Encourage and support people who use the services to express their views and needs
  • Always promote the views and needs of the service user
  • Complete and maintain up to date records
  • Support and encourage life skills and the independence of the service users


Requirements

A Support Worker will have:

  • NVQ Level 2/Care Certificate or be willing to work towards
  • Experience working with learning disabilities or autism preferable
  • Social Care experience working within a CQC regulated service
  • Driving license and own vehicle
