A brand-new Support Worker position has arisen with a leading specialist provider of care services to adults with learning disabilities, Autism and complex needs.

As Support Worker, you will join a 5 bedded residential home and once appointed you will provide support to 5 males with challenging behaviour and a range of learning disabilities.

Your role as Support Worker will include providing 1:1 support to the residents, including personal care, promoting independence and managing challenging behaviour in the home and in the community.

You will work 8 hour shifts across a 7-day rota:

Morning shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm

Afternoon shift: 1:30pm - 9:30pm

Requirements of you as the Support Worker:

  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards)
  • Confidently support adults with challenging behaviour
  • Strong experience working with learning disabilities
  • Driving License and Vehicle would be preferred

Location: Littlehampton

Salary: up to £17,900

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
