Support Worker required to support an autistic individual in a day centre in Newbury. You as the Support Worker will be supporting this individual with their daily tasks whilst always promoting independence. Experience in such a role and access to a car is essential.
The working days of this role are weekdays.

Responsibilities for you as the Support worker:

  • Supporting service user with daily tasks in the day centre
  • Taking the service user out on car rides
  • Working as a team with other members of staff
  • Consistently promoting independence to service users

Requirements for you as the Support Worker:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working in a similar service
  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism and Challenging Behaviour
  • Encouraging and supportive attitude

Location: Newbury

Salary: From £9.00 - £13 depending on payment type
