Calling all Support Workers!

Are you passionate about supporting those in need? Do you want to be the one that creates an enjoyable environment for vulnerable adults who can't go out during this difficult time?

Support Worker required in a Supported Living Service aiding young adults with learning disabilities. You as the support worker will be working with adults between the ages of 19-30 with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy. The ideal support worker will have relevant experience with such individuals and have excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities for you as the Support Worker:

  • Supporting service users with daily tasks whilst promoting independence
  • Working closely with service users, staff, families and other relevant professionals
  • Following service user care plans
  • Assisting service users with at home activities

Requirements for you as the Support Worker:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working in a supported living environment
  • Experience working with autism, learning disabilities and epilepsy
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Encouraging and supportive attitude

Location: Newbury

Salary: £9.00 - £12.50 depending on shift type, payment type and qualifications

Shift Pattern: Waking Nights - 21:45 - 07:15
