Support Worker - Learning Disabilities

Support Worker required for an individual in their own home in Oxfordshire. You as the Support Worker will be supporting a lady with her daily needs in her house. The ideal Support Worker will have experience working with Learning Disabilities and Mental health.

Location: Oxford

Salary: £9:50 - £11:50 an hour depending on payment method

Shifts: Long Days and Sleep ins

Responsibilities for you as the Support Worker:

  • Support with service user's daily needs including some personal care
  • Build and encourage confidence at all times
  • Prompt fluid intake and aid with nutrition
  • Assist with mobility using provided equipment

Requirements for you as the Support Worker:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • A high level of listening skills
