A Support Worker role is available working in a Supported Living Service with adults who have learning disabilities, mental health concerns and challenging behaviour.

As the Support Worker, you will work closely with the Team Leader, take part in a range of activities, promote independence and make a difference in the lives of the service users.

Requirements of the Support Worker include:

  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health concerns
  • Commitment to work long days, early shifts, late shifts and weekend work
  • Experience working in a supported living service, residential home or respite centre is desirable
  • Driving licence is very desirable
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (desirable)

Responsibilities of the Support Worker role:

  • Taking part in a range of activities
  • Be responsible for safeguarding the service users at all times
  • Work responsibly under the companies and CQC guidelines
  • Liaise with external professionals
  • Take a person-centred approach and promote independence

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £17,550

Role: Full-time (permanent)
