Support workers required for a brand-new care home based in Bracknell, supporting young adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. As a Support Worker you will need experience of working in a similar environment and have a background offering brilliant care and positive behaviour support.


Flexible - Days, Nights, Weekends

Your responsibilities as the Care Assistant:

  • Delivering a high standard of care
  • Helping to maintain an active lifestyle, shadowing residents to college
  • Prompting personal care
  • Helping residents with their laundry, keeping their rooms neat and tidy

Requirements of you as the Care Assistant:

  • Experience working with high levels of learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
  • Good level of written or oral English
  • Good use of literacy and numeracy to ensure accurate completion of care plans and to follow medication timetables
  • NVQ level 2-3 desirable
  • Desirable experience working with young adults with Autism
  • First Aid, Manual Handling, Medication Administration - additional training can be provided

Location: Bracknell

Salary: £9.00 - £13.00 per hour
