A leading, national charity, which supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour is looking for a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join their team, based in Abingdon.

You will be providing exceptional care to adults with learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and autism within a residential setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a highly established national organisation, where you'll have full training, support and clear career progression path to management.

Your responsibilities as Support Worker:

  • Providing excellent care to the residents, including personal care
  • Build positive relationships with the residents, colleagues, and families
  • To support the residents by following the principles of Person Centred Active Support
  • Assist and encourage the service users to participate in everyday home, social, leisure and work activities

Requirements of you as Support Worker:

  • Full, clean UK drivers licence
  • Must be flexible to work all hours, including evenings and weekends, and undertake sleep in duties or waking nights
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within a similar setting

Location: South Oxfordshire

Salary: up to £16,500
